Main Aspects of Learning at the IFA Faculty
- 1Program Levels:The training programs cover: introductory, basic, advanced, pre-professional, and individualized levels.
- 2Learning formats:Online/Offline.
- 3Duration:Programs last from 2 to 7 years; the minimum duration of each level is 2-3 years.
- 4Start of classes:The academic year begins on September 1 and runs from September through May.
- 5Practical focus:Training follows an intensive methodology with an emphasis on practical skills.
- 6Programs for Professionals:The opportunity to enroll in pre-professional and professional programs, as well as advanced training and retraining courses in the field.
Classification
The faculty has implemented an education system divided into key Levels by departments of performing arts, depending on the level of preparation:
Level 3 (KS3)
Beginner course. Mandatory (foundations of education) / equivalent to the initial program of a music school
Level 4 (KS4)
Basic course. Mandatory (basic education) / equivalent to the basic program of a music school
Level 5 (KS5)
Pre-professional course (pre-professional education) / equivalent to the pre-professional program of a music school, programs of music colleges, vocational schools, and advanced training
Level 6 (KS6)
Individual program for gifted children, equivalent to basic and pre-professional programs, and advanced training
